Over the 4 classes, you will explore the breath, the mind and emotions, sensations, energy work and incorporate ancient techniques that are key to thriving in this fast paced world. The meditations in this course will help you learn to reduce stress, alleviate an overactive mind, gain insight, and increase vitality. After learning a number of techniques, you will walk away ready to continue your practice using whichever method suits you best.
January 7 - Where we start in meditation - Still, Calm, Empty Get Grounded. Create a Base. Settle into your body. We will systematically guide our bodies and our minds into a state of calm and stillness.
January 14 - Present Moment Awareness, The here and now. Learn how to watch your thoughts from a detached state. Instead of living day to day, under the pull of your emotions, you'll establish a new habit of watching emotions and thoughts come and go and respond to life with clarity rather than simply reacting.
January 21- Energy Medicine and Subtle Body Competence Learn how to observe, build, and direct energy in your body and your mind.
January 28- Transcend Mind and Body with Mantra Sound and Mantra is used in this ancient technique to help one move beyond their human experience.
